"The deep state, or whoever, over at the FDA is making it very difficult for drug companies to get people in order to test the vaccines and therapeutics. Obviously, they are hoping to delay the answer until after November 3rd. Must focus on speed, and saving lives!" tweeted President Trump

Even if what Trump says is true, these comments just make him sound paranoid. People weigh Trump's paranoia, against Biden's senility. Not a very attractive choice.
Typically what you would consider normal people couldn't stand the scrutiny of the job.

Trump may sound "paranoid" to you, but he doesn't sound paranoid to any of his supporters.
This election is all about Covid and the economy according to Democrats. Biden says he would have no problem locking down the country.
