Omari Calls for a Town Hall Meeting on Racial Equity & Policing Reform

"I wanted to discuss racial equity and policing reform with Commissioner Robinson, so I invited him to hold a public meeting with me at City Hall on Monday at 6 PM. I look forward to the conversation. Public participation is encouraged!"

There is nothing like keeping the embers burning! I would imagine that every liberal who feels guilt and believes in the "white privilege" branding hurled on them as well as every white hater around, might participate. :)

We don't have a police problem in our city and it's our city that our commissioners should be concentrating on. PERIOD.

The city web site says:  Sign up to participate in a virtual sunshine meeting with Commissioner Omari Hardy and Commissioner Herman Robinson. The city will be sending an email with ZOOM CALL information 1 hour prior to the meeting.

In order to participate in the virtual zoom meeting, you will need to sign up.

Commissioners should be concentrating on our city...period. We don't have a problem with PBSO. They are involved in our community. I would like to see less crime from lowlifes and gang bangers however, which is not the fault of PBSO.

This is just yet another attempt for Omari to do his grandstand dance.....I agree we have no problem with PBSO. Lynn, curious on your thoughts - Bree Weinberger

There is NO problem with PBSO in our City. They have worked in the neighborhoods for years with no incidents.
I am sorry that Omari believes there is systemic racism in our country. I do not agree. Police who work in large cities where a majority of minorities live, run into a lot of crime. They see it daily, black on black crime. I think they could very well get jaded by it all. Anything is possible.
BUT, we don't have this problem in Lake Worth and overall, with Blacks and Hispanics, that population outweighs the White population. Police are highly educated today.
Omari is creating a problem that does not exist here and people are not racist. White residents voted for Omari, did we not?
