Lifeguards save drowning man at the beach

Man rescued from surf near Lake Worth Beach

"LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man is in the hospital after being rescued from a near drowning near Lake Worth Beach.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said crews responded just after 10 a.m. yesterday to a report of a swimmer in distress. Lifeguards pulled the man from the water by the time Fire Rescue crews arrived. He was taken to the hospital to be evaluated." [WPEC NEWS]
