DACA and The Wall

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Friday sent a key group of senators the Trump administration's list of priorities for any immigration deal.

"The seven-page document, which was released by Sen. Dick Durbin's (D-Ill.) office, includes the U.S.-Mexico border wall, tightening the rules for allowing unaccompanied minors to enter the country and limiting "chain migration," which allows citizens and permanent residents to sponsor family members."

Read about it...

President Trump has said all along that he wants the wall built. Why then are Democrats screaming about it now? They want illegals to be given amnesty, most of whom still don't speak English--the wall is a big part of Trump's deal as well as what Trump's supporters say they want. Also, President Trump wants to end chain migration.

No. Actually the question should be, "Why aren't Republicans screaming about it now?"

Trump assured everyone that Mexico would pay for the wall "100%." Instead, taxpayers are paying for it and blowing up the deficit even more. But because a Republican is breaking his promise and ballooning the deficit and spending tens of billions of taxpayer monies, it's totally okay with people who otherwise whine and wring their hands when a penny of taxpayer money is spent on education or social programs. The election of Trump and Republicans support of many of his proposals, including this one, show that they have zero principles any longer. They'll go along with whatever Trump wants and to hell with what ever they've stood for in the past.

DACA has its Republican supporters, as you well know. One of which is your pal, Marco Rubio, who you couldn't say enough good things about not too long ago. So, once again, it isn't just Democrats as you and other Trumpsters would like every one to believe. If you're going to criticize Democrats, you best criticize those like Marco, too.

Quit getting your panties in a wad. Mexico will be paying for the wall in other creative ways. It could be done through border adjustment” that exempts exports while taxing imports. Under the plan, all imports coming into the United States would be subject to the 20 percent tax, but exports would have the tax refunded — making them tax-free.

You asked a question. I provided an answer.

We're paying for the wall. And the people who hate Big Government and spending taxpayer money are totally okay with getting a raincheck to pay for it.

Do you all stand for anything anymore?

Trump voters were conned:

- Mexico isn't paying for the Wall

- Tax cuts for corporations

- Medicaid cuts high on agenda

- Goldman Sachs is in the White House

We stand for lots of things, "Betsy."

The only voters conned were those who voted for Crooked Hillary. Trump is fulfilling his promises. Hillary? Maybe jail.
