Michael Flynn and the Russian ambassador

Read more... and that Obama first approved of Michael Flynn contacting Russian Ambassador Kislyak.

I don't understand why anyone would cover-up something such as this. You would think that people would have learned this after Watergate. "It's not a crime to talk with foreign ambassadors. The harm was not the calls but Flynn's lying about them. And most especially lying to the vice president who then went out and told the world Flynn had never discussed sanctions. You can't leave your vice-president undercut and exposed." [The Telegraph]

Flynn was subsequently fired after 24 days on the job with the Trump administration.
