Hate Crime in Lake Worth

Was it a "hate" crime? The article describes it as a "possible" hate crime. The shooter was heard to have said, “I hate you (expletive) gays, I’m going to kill you all here.” Sounds obvious to me that it was hate that drove him to kill. Don't put me on that jury.

I think all crimes are hateful. And there's always one idiot who can sully the reputation of the whole, in this case, the City of Lake Worth.

This is what happened the other night in Lake Worth when an alleged gay hater killed a gay man near the Las Flores Restaurant near Dixie Highway.

Read about it...

Knowing our luck, this guy was probably a citizen and won't be turned over to ICE

I don't see this as a "hate crime". I see this as a bunch of people who were so drunk, they didn't know what they were doing. I doubt if the perp had a licence to carry that gun. At any rate, it's not a capital crime, and I doubt the death penalty will be on the table. If they want to call it a "hate crime" and he gets a few extra years, it's no loss to society.

Why isn't it a capital crime? He murdered someone in cold blood. It's not first-degree murder but he shot someone to death.

Liberals preach inclusiveness, yet the illegals they welcome to our country are anything but. Open your minds and ears and understand the extremes of prejudices among them. They're not cute nic nacs to collect, hold them up to the light and see the problems they have with assimilation. It's all charming when one can sit and judge from an ivory tower.

You'll just have to wait until the trial begins to see how they are going to charge him.
