This might be one of the publications that drove Publix to cover up the National Enquirer in its stores. By putting a shield in front of the tabloid/newspaper, it appeased their surly liberals who shop there.
Does anyone really believe Publix's statement that it covered up The National Enquirer in its stores because of inappropriate pictures and language? They say they got numerous complaints and recently decided to permanently cover the National Enquirer. The real problem was that in March, The National Enquirer endorsed Trump for president.

Publix,at least be honest about what and why the Enquirer has been covered for! Offensive material? Please! For YEARS as a Publix shopper I have had the boobs and butts and naked pregnant bodies of celebs shoved in my face at checkout! I have been a Publix shopper my entire life. No more.This grocery chain has slapped me and it's other customers across the face with a slimy glove of intolerance. This action by Publix should offend EVERYONE who is against censorship.My not shopping at Publix will probably not matter to Publix. But it will matter to me.Katie Mcgiveron

Publix is so arrogant that they say they will continue to cover up The National Enquirer. Is this a joke? Are they really that stupid? Trust i our new president elect. Publix isn't the only game in town.

Publix is certainly not the wonderful supermarket it used to be just a mere 10 years ago, but there isn't much of an alternative. We may be saved by Wegman's eventually, but I wouldn't stop buying food waiting for it. Sometimes these things take years! I am offended by all stores who even sell these garbage publications, but, I have to eat.

They offend every time the cashier is obliged to stump for some "charity" Publix can afford to contribute more than the shopper checking prices and not on WIC struggling through that store on Dixie full of strange characters and sober house vermin.
i also find the begging offensive. I have my own list of charities which I thoroughly research on The Charity Navigator. The nerve of a giant food store to ask the customers for money for food. This is always what happens when the founders die. The greedy offspring run the place into the ground.
It's a scam. The customers get to donate and Publix gets to give all that money to charity and gets a tax write-off.
When you see an Enquirer under cover, remove the cover.
