Milton's Grand Opening

Comment Up

It was one of the hottest days of the year but few minded the heat as the party was grand at this Grand Opening of Milton's Grooming Parlor on Lucerne Avenue.

Mayor Triolo was there to cut the ribbon along with Milton, the star, and his owner, Maurici. Every kind of dog imaginable was seen to strut their stuff...dogs from ultra exotic and expensive, to a saved Pound dog, to a 140 pound Wolf Shepherd that nearly knocked me over in his excitement to visit with another dog. Outside tables were set up in front of the grooming parlor and valet service was provided. The food was catered from Calleros Steak House on Lake Avenue.

Lynn,

I hope you checked if they got a permit for their sidewalk dog party. I know you're married to a bulldog and all, but hopefully you haven't let your personal love for dogs cloud your fair and balanced policing of the rule breakers.

The tables were set up on their leased property--not property belonging to the city. The cover in front of their door infringed on city property by about a foot. I would imagine that they had permission from the landlord to extend it west in front of that building. Just a guess, anonymous, but why don't you ask.

Congratulations to Milton and his staff on a beautiful event! Doggie Diva's and their owners knew it was THE place to be! Again, thanks for a fun and beautiful event.
