Ms. LA, this is your blog, as you have mentioned many times it is yours and only yours. I do enjoy reading it on a daily basis, you are eloquent, witty, smart, antagonistic and sarcastic. However, sometimes I wish you would let certain things go by the wayside as they only hurt our little bit of paradise we call Lake Worth.

Truth hurts...I keep saying that as well. Why should we continue to sweep things under the rug? What purpose would that serve? So that they can be repeated over and over again? I think not, anonymous.

As far as my calling attention to egregious matters within this city, it is not I who is hurting the city...look to the culprits. Say something to them. That would serve our city much better than you telling me to "forget" about it all. Besides, that would be a pretty boring blog...Lynn wrote absolutely nothing today other than the sky is blue.

Put a large Bronze Statue of the Thinker or the Founder of the city.

the only people who hang in the plaza are down and out --lazy drug or mentally ill people--so the cameras are for proff this is true--if something happenes in the plaza and we have to look at the tape--we will have a problem with that ---you just mark my word

It's funny you said that because yesterday i went to the annex with friend. after getting out of the car that we parked across from the library, this man walked by talking to himself. at first I thought he was talking on a cell phone as his conversation sounded very intelligent. I then said, "is this guy talking to himself" whereas my friends said, "yes, he's talking to himself." It was weird. Do we have a lot of mentally ill people in this city?

experiments written up in the Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology by professors Gary Lupyan and Daniel Swignley, the act of using verbal clues to trigger mental pictures helps people function quicker.

I am glad the cameras are in our plaza. I was in our museum last year and I witness two drug sales in the brief few minutes I stood by the window in disgust.

S. Collins. Welcome to the real world. Drug sales happen in every town and every place.Did you call the sheriff? If not then you are part of the problem.

A staff member "in the know" said that hese staff members got a slap on the wrist bexause they are covering up for City Manager Bornstein and Commissioner Andy Amaroso. Amaroso and Bornstein are the ones who wanted the tree down because it was "messy".

Yes I did Miss Anderson and I met with them inside the building and gave them my contact information just in case they made an arrest and needed a witness to testify what she saw. I may be retired and enjoying my golden years but will not be intimidated by these low lives that plague our streets. Miss Anderson I am also quite illegal drugs sales happen everywhere and so does illegal immigration, rape, discrimination, murder, child abuse, senior abuse, etc. does that make is o.k. because it happens everywhere? I apologize for not buying into that particular school of thought.

S. Collins. I didn't ask the question but thank you for answering it. Also, I am not sure I agree with that part about not becoming involved you are automatically part of the problem. Most people do not become involved and expect their elected officials and law enforcement to solve the issues. I think that they should. When you get involved, you put yourself out there for all sorts of crazies who want to attack you or worse. The average person has a lot of fear and I don't blame them. Even Mr. Bornstein said that he has been threatened. Just speaking out on an issue can be perceived as a threat by some and that is why we have 99% anonymous posters here.

What I ment about getting invov-lved is to just call the Sheriff. Not wait for the Sheriff and point out the drug deals. They may be watching the drug deals and will make arrest when they feel it necessary. The Sheriff cant be watching every type of crime that happens.
