Finance Advisory Board Recesses

Due to lack of guidance from the City Commission as well as the Commission's failure to interact with the Finance Advisory Board, this Board has now formally recessed until further notice.

The FAB was formed seven months ago and serves at the pleasure of the City Commission. Not once has the City Commission asked for any opinion. It is even questionable as to whether the Commission has even received any of the Board's recommendations.

Chair Exline asked the City Manager, "What is our role? What do you want from us? Give us direction." The FAB will now wait for those questions to be answered before resuming its regularly scheduled meetings.
