The Lake Worth Alumni Foundation and the Dollars for Scholars Foundation held its Fifth Annual Hats on Luncheon yesterday at the Atlantis County Club. These organizations provide scholarships each year for deserving Lake Worth High School students to further their education.
Attendance was down from last year but the generosity was a big as ever. Thanks to Doris Dorsey for some of these photos. She and Roberta Stephens did a great job as Co-Chairs. It was a lot of fun and a great time was had by all. Michelle Bell, a new Judge, was fabulous even if she didn't pick me as a winner!!

This was a great event all the way around! The silent auction had great items : I took home a beautiful street scene donated by Lynn Anderson! (Thanks ,Lynn) I got outbid on the huge bottle of Kahlua(DARN ) ! It was fun reconnecting with people I haven't seen in a while, and the food was great,as always, thanks to the Atlantis Country club. Helen, who ALWAYS WINS, won AGAIN!!!! Loved all the hats. Everyone should try to come out to this event next year. You'll be glad that you did.
