Galvion, a New Hampshire-based defense contractor, secured a lucrative five-year deal worth up to $10 million to supply the FBI with their cutting-edge Hellbender Federal Edition ballistic helmets.
According to the company’s announcement, the contract covers multiple Justice Department agencies including the FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration, and U.S. Marshals Service.
That means this equipment upgrade will benefit hundreds of federal agents who put their lives on the line every day. These aren’t your typical police helmets – they incorporate technology originally developed for U.S. Marine Corps special operations.
