Message from Cpt.Baer

Sheriff Ric Bradshaw has established a new program to assist our Palm Beach County elderly residents who are unable to get out of their homes to go to the grocery store or pharmacy. Our amazing team of Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Volunteers is ready to deliver orders directly to their doors. Seniors in need of assistance should first contact PBSO at the numbers/emails below to get program details beyond this email.

How the program works:

1.    Seniors must contact a qualifying store (retail establishment) to place and pay for their orders.
2.    A PBSO Volunteer will be dispatched to the store to pick-up the orders, which are prepackaged by the retail establishment.
a.    The Volunteer does not shop for or provide payment for any items. All orders must be prepaid.
3.    The Volunteer will deliver the order to the specified residence.
4.    The Volunteer will place the items at the front door and leave.
a.    The Volunteer does not make contact with anyone at the residence.

What is a qualifying store (retail establishment)? To qualify, the store must be able to do the following:
•    Take orders over the phone or online
•    Accept payment over the phone or online
•    Package purchased items and hold for pick-up

Currently the only stores with this capability are Costco, Walmart, and Target. However, when it comes to prescription medications, most pharmacies (CVS, Walgreens, etc.) are able to accommodate.

Please call or email the following numbers for more information:

Between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm please contact:
Krysti Nast - 561- 688-3918  email address NastK@pbso.org or
