Mayor Bill Foster might veto the St. Petersburg Council's circumvention of Amendment 4. It depends upon what the Council does tonight.
The state's Department of Community Affairs objected to the city's ploy. An Aug. 26 report said the city had no legal basis in establishing a second map and that the newer categories were too vague.
