Tensions Between Biden and Obama at Kennedy Funeral

It’s always a spectacle when the Democratic Party’s top players are forced into the same room. And what better occasion to catch the dysfunction in action than the funeral of Ethel Kennedy, a solemn event now overshadowed by a very public moment of tension between Joe Biden and Barack Obama.

You might think, “It’s a funeral, let’s act dignified.” But apparently, when you’re watching your party sink in the polls faster than Biden on the steps of Air Force One, restraint goes out the window.

At Ethel Kennedy’s memorial service—held at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, mind you, in front of the nation’s elite—Biden and Obama were caught in a heated conversation that sparked immediate social media speculation. And by heated, I mean Obama looked like a parent scolding a child, while Biden, our ever-composed commander-in-chief (sarcasm intended), seemed utterly flabbergasted.

Obama was probably trying to explain about Kamala dropping like a rock. :)
