It wasn’t the Omicron variant per se that impacted jobs and the economy. As with every other variant of COVID, it was the government response to the Omicron variant that was a punch in the gut.When mayors and governors impose vaccine passports or mask restrictions on businesses, the businesses suffer.

Where is the recovery? I haven't seen it. If people still won't go back to work, and they hire new people to replace them; how is that recovery? If the shelves in the Supermarket are empty, and gas costs a dollar more than it did 6 months ago; how is that recovery? No matter where you call, nobody answers the phone. Recovery?
