Congressional leaders and law enforcement agencies are now investigating the possibility that members of the Capitol Police and perhaps even Congress themselves, were involved in the planning of the attack.

"The House voted to approve legislation to establish an independent and bipartisan commission to investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

The final vote was 252-175, with 35 Republicans joining Democrats in supporting the legislation.
