Rick Scott ahead in Poll
A new poll from St. Leo University found Gov. Rick Scott has surpassed U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup for Nelson’s seat in 2018.
I won't vote for the incumbent Nelson at all, but not sure I will vote for Scott either, anyone else running. Scott is better than Nelson. Personally I think both need to retire!
I think Scott is a better than average Governor, although I also liked Jeb Bush. I don't think he is so old that he has to retire. I would consider voting for him for the Senate.
It would be difficult to institute a state income tax down here, because so many people don't have any earned income. It would fall to the working people to pay it, and many working people down here only have minimum wage jobs.
They'll have to think of something though, because money doesn't grow on trees, and the enormous wear and tear on the infra-structure required to sustain the seasonal people has to be paid somehow.
