Susan Collins and the ACA

In the new PPP poll (Public Policy Polling) of Republicans from Maine, there are some troubling results for Senator Susan Collins.

More than 60 percent of respondents said that they were less likely to vote for Collins in a primary due to her vote on Obamacare repeal, and 62 percent of respondents said that they disapproved of her job in the Senate. Further, only 28 percent of respondents would even commit to voting for Collins in a potential primary situation, and 55 percent said that they’d like to vote for someone who had LePage’s backing.

Curiously, a plurality of respondents said that they’d rather vote for Mary Mahew, the current Health and Human Services Commissioner, than Collins. Mahew is the only Republican who has actually declared candidacy.

According to Business Insider, Susan Collins said, "The ACA is flawed and in portions of the country is near collapse," she added. "Rather than engaging in partisan exercises, Republicans and Democrats should work together to address these very serious problems."

Collins voted "no" on all three healthcare plans proposed by the Senate GOP.

Voting with Democrats is not smart politics.

This whiner needs to move next door to Canada where she can enjoy single payer health care instead the cushy health care she gets as a US senator.
She made suckers out of her constituents with he vote against repeal, forcing them to pay the exorbitant Obama care rates for high deductible care while she gets a free ride for her own coverage.

Primary each of the seven Republican bastards that voted against the Obama care repeal. RINO's like Paul Ryan and McCain should be replaced immediately. McCain cannot be trusted to know when to remove himself when his brain is being ravaged by cancer.
