What the hell is going on in our country? The pastor's son-in-law has a bullet in his neck. As he said, “please pray for me. All I did was walk out of church. Life doesn’t make sense.”He's right. Thanks to this counter-culture (liberals, socialists, communists, fake news media, atheists and people showing contempt for our great country), America is quickly losing its moral and ethical roots.

The way you wrote this is confusing. The name of the church is New Hope, but the town is not New Hope. New Hope, PA is the home of Pearl S. Buck and James A. Michener. I would have been surprised if there was much of a criminal element in New Hope.
I certainly hope the man recovers. These types of things shouldn't be happening in any town.

You have a point. It's just that New Hope, PA is so well-known that your eye immediately jumps to the words New Hope, making the rest of the article seem secondary in importance.
