Moratorium on Medical Marijuana dispensaries about to expire
From the city's backup and on tonight's Agenda:
On March 21, 2017, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 2017-05 to establish a moratorium on applications, confirmation letters, business licenses, development orders and permits involving uses relating to medical marijuana. This moratorium went into effect on March 31, 2017 and will expire on March 31, 2018.
The City doesn't want to get caught with its pants down again so they say that "Due to issues that have arisen regarding the appropriateness and regulation of such uses and the possibility of further regulations being imposed by the State, a moratorium extension is provided herein to allow the City more time to study the issues and bring their resolution back to the Commission for consideration."
The City is asking for a six month extension.

Ted Cruz sets Fake news CNN straight
America’s premier fake news network, CNN, has again demonstrated why it deserves all the ridicule it regularly receives from President Donald Trump.
A day after suspect Nikolas Cruz allegedly killed 17 people during a mass shooting Wednesday at Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, CNN host Chris Cuomo falsely accused three top Republicans of being too “afraid” to appear on the network to talk about what happened.
According to The Hill, during Thursday’s edition of “New Day,” he specifically targeted Florida. Gov Rick Scott, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

Kids and millennials learn everything from social media today and mock the Tim Tebows of the world. They think Muslims are cool and atheists even cooler. They are more religiously unaffiliated than any other generation. We wonder why there are so many killings or why some kid would shoot up a school.
We need to bring God back into our lives and it starts at home and school.
