Evening Sky 7-15-25

The Supreme Court on July 14 allowed President Donald Trump to move forward with dismantling the Department of Education by firing almost 1,400 employees.

Three justices—Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson—dissented from the ruling.

A federal district court had issued an injunction blocking the process and directing the government to rehire some of the departmental employees who had been laid off.

U.S. District Judge Myong Joun of Massachusetts issued an order on May 22 directing the government to rehire the laid-off employees and reverse other actions aimed at downsizing the department.

The department may now “deliver on its mandate to restore excellence in American education” by cutting education bureaucracy.

Good Night, Patriots!

I'm sure they could dismantle a lot of different agencies and get rid of hundreds of thousands of jobs in the US government because there's so much waste in the government nowadays I know I have a relative that worked in the federal government and said that nobody does anything they don't work they just bring a book to read a book at work and they do nothing at work at all and they're paid very high salaries of 100,000 or more for bringing their book to work and reading a book all day long there's just so much waste in the US government it's very sad!
