Federal agents allegedly dug through Rep. Ilhan Omar’s trash for DNA days before searching her Washington home, as sources say the immigration case runs deeper than many realize.Investigators conducted the "dumpster diving" effort to extract genetic material as part of an expanded federal probe into the family's 1995 immigration history and potential identity or public benefits fraud.
Homeland Security Investigations agents searched the Minnesota Democrat’s Washington, D.C., home on Monday and walked out with her cellphone, notebooks, personal computers, and passport. Inside sources later described a quieter step that came first: agents going through her garbage in hopes of collecting DNA from Omar and her family.
Daily Mail reporting on those accounts ties the trash search to a wider immigration-fraud probe now coordinated by Homeland Security Investigations’ Minneapolis office, ICE’s investigative arm, and says the DNA was treated as critical evidence.
The raids landed just three weeks before her re-election bid. Sources also described more than a dozen other searches unfolding at the same time.

The no name calling rule has to do with commenters who bully other participants on this blog with obnoxious insults. It has nothing to do with politicians, etc.
So the "Stick to the issues and stay away from partisan shots, name calling or profanity." also only applies to other commenters and not politicians whether they are Democrat, Republican or Independents? OK.
Thanks for the clarification. It doesn't say that in the rules.
