The Fox in the Hen House is prevalent in Lake Worth

Comment Up
Tonight there is a workshop on the TONS of items wrong with our new Casino. When I say "tons" it is no exaggeration. This is truly unbelievable. Shocking. We put the fox in charge of the hen house it seems.

Next is discussion on our million dollar plus Olympic pool with Sinclair Engineering telling us that it will cost $198,761 to bring it up to snuff and if there is anything else that comes up during the process, it will be extra. Unbelievable, right?...especially as we just spent $500,000 on it just a few years ago and $200,000 on the project manager. And its been closed for two years!

Only in Lake Worth do we run head first into these "unbelievables" that end up costing us tons of money for someone's incompetence. Why would a city not listen to the engineer who actually designed this pool and take his advice. John Adair will be at the pool today and at the meeting tonight to attempt, once again, to tell the commission and city manager Bornstein what's up. If anyone cares.

How will they issue a CO and will Mulligans be able to open on time?

Where was Bornstein? Why wasn't he in charge? He fired the assistant city manager and then didn't take over her duties?

Oh! please the Asst. City Manager was as useless as teets on a bull.
They had an outside person looking over the contracting for the building but did not renew his contract.Nor did we hirer someone to watch over our interests. After all wasn't the city and the contractor considered as ONE.

Who was the outside person whose contract was not renewed?
