"The point is that we have plenty of room to grow without having to modify the comprehensive plan. For that reason, it is irrational to believe that this amendment would lead to unemployment. Rather, it would prevent elected officials from being influenced by private interests because if developers need to convince someone, that someone would be the public."

This Daniel Roth Shoer gets it. How nice to read someone -- like you, Lynn -- who understands that Amendment 4 is simply putting government back to rights. It will restore government of-by-and-for the people, where we now have government of-by-and-for the developer. And we pay and pay and pay through our taxes for municipal services in order to support sprawl and line the pockets of developers who build on our farmland, wetlands, dunes, etc., in violation of our local, publicly approved land-use plans . . but with crooked politicians' blessings.
