Mayoral Candidate Tom Ramiccio will hold a town hall meeting event for residents of Lake Worth on Thursday, June 9th, 2011 at Sacred Heart School in the Madonna Hall from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The address of the venue is 425 North “M” Street in Lake Worth.

“There are many issues impacting our residents and businesses”, said Ramiccio. “I feel it is very important to listen to what is worrying our residents most. I want to hear their ideas about their vision for the future of our city, get to know our residents better and have them get to know me”, Ramiccio said.

“I believe Lake Worth should keep the contracts in place with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. We should not return to the days of costly city-run departments and risk our public safety. We need to address our electric utility and investigate the option of selling our power plant to FPL”, Ramiccio said.

“These issues and many others are the things that I want to speak to residents about. We are at a very critical juncture in our city”, said Ramiccio.

Tom Ramiccio has been a resident of Lake Worth since 1969. He is a former Commissioner, Vice Mayor and Mayor of Lake Worth.

Gee ,Tom, I would have thought that YOU,of all people , would WANT to go back to the days when you used the LWPD as your own private little army. Like when you called out the SWAT team members on citizens LEGALLY collecting petitions for the Supermajority.

Be careful now, Tom--Lisa Maxwell will probably steal your idea about selling the utility.

Scary thought of Tom as mayor again.

Nothing would be worse than expanding the anarchist alliance with the election of Waterman.

Ok people...we have been hearing the political faction in this city that coined the phrase, "anarchist alliance." Now, we need an explanation.

1. Are you saying that 3 commisisoners on the dais ARE anarchists..that they don't believe in government?
2. Are you saying that they all believe in the Jennings philosophy, whatever that is? If so, explain.

This present Commission has not made a mistake on any decision for our city. In most every case, it was a 4/1 vote with Maxwell always seeing something negative or some sort of conspiracy in everything.

Give examples of your charge. Thanks.
