Scott Bessent Looks to Cut Off Tax Benefits for Illegal Migrants
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Friday announced his department will look to cut off federal benefits to illegal aliens.In a message posted to X, Bessent said the Treasury would execute President Donald Trump’s order, which was posted across social media on Thanksgiving and took aim at a range of issues, including the “refugee burden” on America, which Trump blamed for “social dysfunction…something that did not exist after World War II.”
Trump has reacted strongly to the shooting of two West Virginia National Guard members and the subsequent death of Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, blaming illegal immigration and the wider immigrant population for troubles in the United States– something he has done throughout both his administrations and one of the reasons for enacting the largest deportation operation in U.S. history.
Trump in his Thanksgiving message heavily criticized immigration policy in the U.S. and the benefits those immigrants receive.
Particularly, Trump described how “a migrant earning $30,000 with a green card will get roughly $50,000 in yearly benefits for their family.”

Yup. That's why so many of them work 12 hours or more a day in the fields doing stoop labor. So many handouts.
With so much immigration in the past 30 years coming into the United States we really need a break from it all they should really put a moratorium on all immigration in the United States for the next 30 to 50 years to slow it down so we can get some assimilation and get some Law and Order again and some respect for our country and some allegiance to this country!
I love the reporter that was on the Salem News Channel the other day asking New Yorkers if they felt that the United States government had the right to enforce our federal laws about immigration on the books? And they all went crazy and act like we're not even allowed as a country to enforce our own immigration laws in this country that just goes to show you that the liberal left they're completely off their rockers but would they like someone breaking into their house and stealing from their home? It's the same thing they're just so so dumb! We really do need law and order and we need respect for our laws and people coming in the right way they need to stop all illegal immigration and arrest every single illegal immigrant and make them go back home and do it the right way show some respect for our country and our laws here!
