Lake Worth Alumni Breakfast

The Alumni Breakfast was held at Atlantis Country Club this morning and attended by all those with a deep love for Lake Worth High School and a love for all the students past and present.

The Dollars for Scholars Foundation has 20 endowment funds and for the first time ever, the City of Lake Worth voted in a $25,000 one time contribution towards the future education of our Lake Worth youth.

Dollars for Scholars is having a fundraiser golf tournament this Saturday.

Why is this held in Atlantis and not Lake Worth?

The breakfast fundraiser usually has about 120 people. There is no where in Lake Worth that could accommodate a buffet breakfast such as this with a kitchen right there and with staff that is used to catering to large groups. It is a beautiful room in a beautiful setting.

The golf tournament is held at Atlantis because years ago the pro at the Lake Worth golf course at the time gave them such a hard time, they went to Atlantis and it's been smooth sailing ever since.

Looks like it was a really nice affair. Lake Worth High must really be a great school to have graduated someone as impressive as Judge Harper.
