Surprise, surprise... I've been waiting for this. The 3 Stooges know they are about to get voted out of office, so they'll do anything to extend their term in office (and find plenty of righteous excuses as to why.) After all, these "visionaries" need more time to seal their deal with HH.
This will be the third time they've try to use this sneaky tactic. It's called "pulling a Nadine."
@6:01...I don't believe that's what it means. I have a call into Pam Lopez to explain it. I think that they are only trying to coordinate our election with whatever primary or other election is scheduled so that we only have one election in March.
The reason says because of the GOP Primary which begs the question of why they do not pay for their own primaries and we pay for the winners? If they can change the date of our elections they should bear the cost, no?
It make sense to cycle the elections with other elections to help reduce costs of holding our own separate elections.. Sounds like the commissioners are trying to save taxpayer $$$.
It was so much better when our election was held with the general election, better turn out, etc. I'm not sure what this means, but we have switched the election date back and forth too many times, and when they really don't want people to come out and vote, they hold a so called special election in August when everyone is away.

6:02am--the Commissioners have nothing whatsoever to do with this ordinance. it is in front of them to sign...that's it.

This is to amend the charter. That would require a public vote.
Holy F*&k
