this is what the city of lake worth needs to do and it also needs to suspend the pension payments all together or reduce them inline with the private sector. And then it needs to reduce property taxes to $500.00 a year if you live in or work out of the property and not much more if it's income property either.
Yes there will be high unemployment ( there already is) but it will not take much to keep a roof over you head because the cost of food and clothing and everything else will continue to go up because of peak oil and we could muddle through this mess if these actions are taken. If we bring cost down ( taxes) it will cost the government less to help those that really need it , and as for all those people that built or bought a mac mansion ( more then 1200 sq. ft. ) with all the bells in whistles to live in screw them and the banks.
