SunFest 2011

April 27/May 1

Bring a lot of cash. You have to pay for that new Michael Singer designed waterfront.

It started out a Jazz Festival and it was free. Now it is a free for all but it will cost you! If you buy your ticket before April 23 it is $30. After that, a one day pass is $34. And don't forget the parking! That's not affordable either. It's a good thing I don't know any of these acts other than Gregg Allman and Earth, Wind & Fire. Whatever happened to people who could sing or had talent?

Palm Beach Post says this regarding the attractions:

Cee Lo Green, MGMT, Mike Posner and the Avett Brothers with returning headliners like Jason Mraz and legends like Gregg Allman, Jeff Beck and Earth, Wind & Fire, the still incomplete schedule is shaping up to be a winner.

Also in the mix — enough ’80s and ’90s-era names (Styx, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, Sublime with Rome and Ziggy Marley) to keep SunFest’s reputation as a retro party intact, plus the coolness of jam band O.A.R. and New Orleans’ legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

You're showing your age, Lynn. I haven't hard of these people either. Good reason to stay home and put on a good CD. One of these days I'' get down to Flagler and see the improvements.
