Trump just announced one change to student loans that will force graduate schools to face reality

The higher education racket has been running the same scam for decades

They jack up prices knowing students can borrow unlimited federal money to pay whatever they charge.

On Monday, Trump’s Department of Education began formal negotiations to completely overhaul the student loan system – and the changes are going to hit graduate schools right where it hurts most.

The biggest shock to the system comes from Trump’s plan to completely kill the Grad PLUS loan program by July 1, 2026.

Under the current system, grad students can essentially write themselves blank checks for whatever their school decides to charge – there’s no borrowing limit at all.

Schools can charge whatever they want because they know the federal government will cut the check.
