Sunset 6-7-25

Gun manufacturers in the United States no longer have to worry about a case recently brought against them by the Mexican government.

The Mexican government was going after the weapon makers for gun violence in its country due to the manner in which weapons like the AR-15 are marketed.

The funny thing about this case is that while the Supreme Court rejected the matter, in the process, it may have also handed gun advocates a major win against the Democratic Party and its quest to have these guns banned.

Justice Kagan: “But those products are both widely legal and bought by many ordinary consumers. … The manufacturers cannot be charged with assisting in criminal acts just because Mexican cartel members like those guns too.”

That ruling should be the focus of every GOP response the next time Democrats decide they want to try to ban AR-15s from law-abiding citizens.

Good Night, Patriots!
