President Donald Trump celebrated what he called a “monumental victory” after a Supreme Court ruling today.

The divided Supreme Court, 6-3, limited the use of nationwide injunctions by federal judges, leaving the fate of Trump’s executive order ending automatic birthright citizenship unclear. The justices, however, did not rule on the constitutionality of birthright citizenship, and stopped his executive order from going into effect for 30 days. Pam Bondi said that will be decided in October. The ruling blocks district judges from making nationwide injunctions against it.

The high court ruled that individual judges lacked the authority to grant nationwide injunctions, which prevent the federal government from enforcing a certain law or policy across the country.

Good Night Patriots!
