Communism in Colleges and Universities

U Florida takes 'Karl Marx' name off study room following news report

The University of Florida changed the name of its 'Karl Marx Group Study Room' to 'Group Study Room 229' after Campus Reform’s recent report. Campus Reform continues to report on the proliferation of Marxist and other leftist influences in higher education.

As Campus Reform previously reported, the Karl Marx Group Study Room, located in Library West, included a plaque describing Marx, the author of The Communist Manifesto, as a “philosopher, radical economist, and revolutionary critic.”

The University of Florida told Campus Reform that Russia's invasion of Ukraine influenced the school's decision to take down Karl Marx's name.

"Given current events in Ukraine and elsewhere in the world, we determined it was appropriate to remove the name of Karl Marx that was placed on a group study room at the University of Florida in 2014," Hessy Fernandez, director of strategic communications, said.

It's unbelievable what's going on in our colleges and universities

The actualization of Communism finds its bedrock on the theories of Marxism. Whereas Communism is the actualization of the classless society, and Marxism is the idea on which it can achieve that.

That's funny! As though any of them could get through 2 pages of Das Kapital!

Incidentally, Marx was German. From a German-Jewish family. He hardly ever made any money and was always having to ask for help from his well-to do-relatives. Engels helped him a lot as well. Engels finished Das Kapital for Marx after he died.

They say the Bible is the least read book, but my guess is that Das Kapital is almost never read.

Dialectal Materialism-sounds scary doesn't it.
