Lake Worth Election Results

Voters said it was Time for change

This election was won by 1) mail-in ballots 2) extensive use of social media (a media that Trump perfected) which they used to a big advantage, cracking the heads of incumbents non-stop on a daily basis. The fact that many people wanted term-limits thus change, played a big factor as well.

Residents didn't like the city screwing around with our pool, their plans for our beach and demolishing or moving historic buildings for development. They didn't like the perception that the incumbents were rubber stamps for the city manager. And they certainly were not happy that their calls were not returned or their concerns not addressed.

Congratulations to Betty, Sarah and Kimberly. May you make sound decisions that help our city and keep its small town charm.
Christopher and Carla are in a run-off on March 23, I believe is the date.

I sure hope the city continues improving. We have to admit, this city has improved tremendously since the current administration has taken over. The new administration needs to keep moving forward.

What a GREAT day for Lake Worth Beach. ! It is clear the people of this amazing city wants change. We will get it now. This out-going commission and Mayor have did a lot of good things for this city. Now these newly elected officials can help put a greater foot print in the sand for all of us to enjoy. I wish this new body a great deal of success ,strength & wisdom moving our wonderful city forward. As for the outgoing commissioners and Mayor , i can only hope they find happiness in all future endeavors ... A lesson to be learned; dont bite the hands that feed you for that hand can turn into a whip quickly.

Congratulations Betty, Sarah and Kimberly. I am happy to see change in the City of Lake Worth.

It's quite possible that all their grievances were exaggerated and bull shit in order to over-throw the dais. Democrats fall for all the lies. They did this time too.

This is a stunning defeat. I can't even imagine that there were that many people who were against Pam and Andy.

I'm sure Betty and Sarah are quite competent, and since they both are business people, I doubt that they want the town to turn into the gulag.

I wish them both luck and congratulate them on an extremely successful campaign.

Maybe 10:00 am is right. It certainly is a strange outcome for such a predictable election.

Kinda like a dark horse, only in this case, it's several dark horses.

I just got a call from a man who now lives out-of-state. He was astounded regarding the results...shocked really. He also commented that Mike Bornstein is wondering what's next for him other than a huge severance package. Time will tell.

I see on another webpage that they want UNITED Lake Worth.

Sara calling certain people "RepubliKLAN being white supremacist"

Not really sounding very united to me. Nonpartisan election? I think I know how she will be treating certain people.

pam, andy, and scott became bullies, arrogant, and abusive, they rubbed so many the wrong way, not to mention raping the good citizens of the city with such high paychecks for elected positions with so many benefits, they abused their powers and the people woke up to their abuse. Glad they are all out! Lake Worth deserves better than bullies like them, andy and pam could be really nasty!
