Speed Bump on Akron

Comment Up

The owner who lives on the east side of the street directly near this obnoxious bump came after me today like a maniac. He is as obnoxious as this bump. I almost called 911 to report Senior abuse. He followed me to Sabor/Publix raving like a banshee at the top of his lungs, blasting his horn, calling me every name in the book because I gave him a little toot of my horn as I crossed the bump.

Public Works informed me today that this bump will be replaced with a normal bump in the new budget year that begins October 1. That's good because we don't want this "abuser" to have a stroke or anything. The woman across the street from him who got the petition signed for the bump has her place up for sale.

In the meantime, drivers are getting whip lash crossing the obstruction and this guy is still getting his jollies off, mad at the world. His dog loves him though.

Can a regular wheelchair or motorized wheelchair get over it?
That could be a problem.

Classic passive-aggressive behavior you exhibit time and time again on this blog.

Nice. Now we have a psychologist commenting on this blog. Where did you get your degree?

It was not I that put in this ridiculous speed bump. It is not I allowing my dog to wonder all over the place with no leash. It is not I sitting there all day glaring at motorists as they attempt to cross over this bump. It was not I following someone in a threatening manner screaming at the top of my flea invested lungs with 4 people running out of Publix and a store asking if I needed help or the cops.

So, where is this passive-aggressive behavior coming from, anonymous, all knowledgeable one? I report on the facts, unlike some in this city.

Take a look at that bump. hahaha. Everyone should be pissed off.

Can you losers explain how someone going over a speed bump at 5 mph gets whiplash?
Is that kind of like be hired to submit a census report, getting paid but then never actually submitting the report?
The average i.q. for people that read this blog has to be in the negatives.

Whiplash is poetic license, anonymous.
I notice you are reading this blog. Is your IQ about 69? name calling just proves how low it must be. :)

You keep complaining about it, yet you still drive over it again and again and again

It's the only street with a light that allows motorists to safely enter into the intersection when getting onto Lake Worth road or crossing into Publix. Thanks for noticing and your question, anonymous. Do I keep complaining about it? Twice, I think and that is unlike me to let it slide so much but Jamie has ensured me that it is an inappropriate traffic calming bump and it will be replaced.

I was at the vet and headed to Publix from Akron and wham my head hit the roof of the car. No I was not going 5 miles an hour but I was not speeding either. This thing is BIG and it sounded like I was driving on railroad tracks.

Lynn, Isn't it funny how these 2 guys who hate you just can't stay away from your blog? They must have big fat government pensions and nothing to do all day but pass gas and call names. What losers.
