Peter Navarro just explained the China deal
Done in language even the media should understand:
America keeps the steak, China buys the leftovers.The beef freakout is nonsense. Trump is not shipping our hamburgers and ribeyes to Beijing while American families pay more. He is selling offal—tongues, tendons, tripe, tails—the cuts Americans usually do not eat, giving ranchers added value without hammering U.S. beef prices.
That is smart trade. The bigger picture is even better: Trump stabilized the China front while keeping tariffs, pressuring Beijing on Iran, controlling oil leverage, and kicking China out of America’s hemisphere.
This deal was a top ask from U.S. ranchers who want to sell the stuff Americans don’t eat for added value, and it will have no impact on beef prices in the U.S.
In the interview, Rob Schmitt of Newsmax asks if we’re giving China an economic lifeline as they’re struggling.
Not at all. We see what the Chinese have done since the days of Nixon, and are responding in kind.
