Spanberger Says She Wants New Rules For Polling Places

Spanberger’s decision to bar ICE from polling stations draws scrutiny

Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger says she will sign an executive order meant to guide election workers if federal agents show up near polling places.

According to reporting on her remarks, the order is supposed to explain how state employees and people helping run Virginia elections should react if federal agents appear where voters are casting ballots.

That may sound calm on paper, but in plain English it means the governor now wants a rulebook for a situation Democrats keep telling us should not be happening in the first place.

The ICE Question Is Hard To Ignore. The odd part is simple. Democrats have spent years insisting that illegal aliens are not voting because federal law forbids it.

So if that is true, why the dramatic rush to keep ICE away from polling places? That is the kind of question that practically answers itself. If there is nothing to see, then why the panic?

The whole thing makes it look like the left is more worried about enforcement than election security, and that is never a good sign for people who still believe voting should be legal, orderly, and transparent.
