City Commission tables the installation of two charging stations at City Hall

Until further research is done, the City of Lake Worth tabled the re-allocation of $75,000 that was supposed to go to the PBC School Board WIFI project to be used for little kids and shifting the funds for charging stations at City Hall.

They are looking for two charging stations installed there. It was mentioned that a Level II takes 2 to 4 hours to charge a battery and a Level III is faster. Can you even imagine hoards of cars waiting to charge their cars, jams and blocking ingress and egress etc.?

Here's about charging stations in Louisiana--

Charging stations are not a priority of taxpayer money.

I've seen a handful of Tesla's, but it seems to me, that most of the cars in that price range are across the bridge. I would think that the condos ever there are making provisions for charging these cars.

I have to congratulate the commission on their judgement on this one!
