Did Chinese Hackers Just Do A Drive By On Several State Department…

According to a report released Tuesday by a private cybersecurity firm, hackers working for the Chinese government broke into the computer networks of at least six state governments between May 2021 and February this year in the United States.

According to NBC:

The group, known as APT41, allegedly exploited vulnerabilities in web applications to get their initial foothold into state government networks, Mandiant said. The Department of Homeland Security is warning private and public security entities to be extra vigilant as the conflict between Russia and the Ukraine continues.
