Pam Bergsma on Healthy Eyes at Lake Worth commission Meeting

Pam Bergsma has been fighting for a device that should be used in standard eye exams called an opthalmoscope ever since her grandson Joey died from Retinoblastoma.

She has appeared every year in front of our commission telling her story and Tuesday night she mentioned that she finally has headway in possibly getting a bill passed in the Florida Legislature House bill 67 and Senate bill 46. Her perseverance has finally paid off.

That's a nice story Lynn. I hope it works out. I know that's one of the conditions they treat at St. Jude's.
