Lake Worth wants you to take their Survey for screwing up the beach

The Beach Casino Complex Options

No where in this presentation did they give the public the option to repair what we have in place. They want us to weigh in on spending $14 million up to $59 million.

Conceptual Design Concepts--There were six different "schemes" and these figures are in multi-MILLIONS:"

  • SCHEME A--$14,513,982
  • SCHEME B--$18,161,285
  • SCHEME C--$18,472,612
  • SCHEME D--$31,257,275
  • SCHEME E--$41,201,101
  • SCHEME F--$59,015,031 (this one includes a 4 story parking garage and a hotel on a public/private partnership)

We Need Your Help!

Last month, the CPZ Architectural firm presented the City with seven proposed conceptual design improvements for the Lake Worth Beach Complex.

In order to gain further community input regarding the proposals for the Lake Worth Beach and Casino Building, the City would appreciate your participation in a brief survey. The survey is anonymous. Your answers will be reviewed and evaluated as part of the planning process for the upcoming project in the City of Lake Worth.

If you have not yet seen the proposed concepts it would be helpful to watch the presentation here and to look over the proposal document here.

When you are ready please CLICK HERE to proceed with the survey.

If that link does not work, Click here for the survey

At the group sit-down at The Hatch, the presenters brought up an excellent idea that would have extended the parking deck from the dune to A1A with restaurants overlooking the intracoastal waterway. The plan made sense because the property would encourage night time use, expand parking, put service areas below the deck and employee parking, overflow parking.

Get rid of the pool at the beach. No one goes to the BEACH to swim in a fresh water pool. And pay $3.00 per hour on top of admission for the privilege.
