As the rental project across the street from this assault is rapidly being built, look for us to see more crime out in this area in the very near future.

The crime seems to be moving west, from the round-about west to Congress, and with that trailer park having a lot of issues and now with the new rentals they are building on Lake Worth Rd., it is just going to get worse. The CRA has built all those new artist lofts which is helping to stabilize and improve conditions west of city hall, little by little the CRA is working to eliminate all the blight in the CRA area and now it is moving west.The city leaders and PBSO need to do more to be present in the high crime areas, they just are not present enough until after the crime has been committed, they need to be on top of things better, they just aren't they hide out too much at the beach or golf course instead of in the high crime hot spots. All the folks who live west of the round-about really need to voice more their concerns and get more policing here, it has been very limited over the years.
