The House passed a $1.2 trillion spending package to fund the government through the end of the fiscal year on September 30th, and President Trump signed it.
Unfortunately, because of rabid opposition by Democrats to ICE arresting and deporting murderers, rapists, drug dealers and child predators, funding for the DHS was separated out and will run only under February 13th.
Mike Huckabee says that means that like Bill Murray in “Groundhog Day,” Americans will have to suffer through nine more days of repetitive demonization of law enforcement before (we hope) Republicans stick together, ignore the deranged Dems, and pass longterm funding for ICE and the Border Patrol.
