Well, folks, it seems like the history erasers are at it again. This time, they’re setting their sights on a Confederate statue in Arlington Cemetery in Washington DC. And guess what? They aren’t wasting any time. According to a report, a crane has already been moved into the cemetery for the removal and destruction of this Civil War Reconciliation Memorial.

Now, before we go any further, let’s take a moment to appreciate the irony here. This statue was dedicated by none other than President Calvin Coolidge back in 1924. It was the work of Jewish artist Moses Ezekiel and was built as a memorial to reconciliation after the American Civil War. Yep, you heard that right: reconciliation, not division. But apparently, that doesn’t matter to the history-erasing brigade.
