Well, we're now Lake Worth Beach

What a shocker!

Those who canvassed the neighborhoods and knocked on doors did well.  We had no campaign going to defeat the two amendments. Herman and Tom in Run-Off.

Can't believe that racist William Joseph got as many votes as he did. He made it clear that he is only representing one segment of the city. He had no interest in presenting his views to the city at large.Shameful.

guess you just can sign up to run for office and not show up for anything and end up getting more votes than the person who ran door to door.dont make sense

Did Richard door knock?

I agree it is very disturbing that William Joseph actually got votes.

yes Richard did

Who cares about William Joseph. Maybe he just likes to run for elections. I saw his signs all the way down Dixie Hwy in Lantana.

The name change will be confusing and will backfire. Is it a Lake or a Beach, is the beach on a Lake? Never fails when I'm out of town no one knows LW. When I was in a job training in WPB the whole class of 50 laughed when I said I lived in Lake Worth, true story.
