What Florida has done for revenue--Sickening. I think all hunters are sick.
Reports say that more than 3,200 people have purchased permits to KILL bears--numbers released by FWC. Less than 50 of those permits are from out-of-state hunters.
Since august and based on the cost of the permits, Florida Fish and Wildlife has brought in more than $320,000.
The FWC web site says: In June 2015, the FWC approved a limited bear hunt to take place beginning Oct. 24, 2015 in four of the seven BMUs. The purpose of reinstating a bear hunting season is to stabilize expanding bear populations in different parts of the state that are capable of supporting hunting.

The bear population is getting out of control similar to the alligator population. What would you suggest?
In both cases, the older, larger of the specie are taken. Those are less afraid of humans.
The problem is not so much here in South Florida but more in the central and northern areas.
Yeah, right. There's always a justification for everything whether it is chilling, wrong or just plain disgusting. I hate hunters and their mentality. There must be something radically wrong with their psyche that they can get such a thrill out of murdering an animal with their cold hands.
One of those going on this hunt is FWC Commissioner Liesa Priddy. Priddy is a Scott appointee and you'll never guess her political persuasion. Or maybe you will.
Google her name and you'll also find she doesn't like panthers.
And people wonder why Republicans are despised by so much of this country and world.
