School Supply Drive

We have a lot of poor people in Lake Worth and along with poor parents brings poor children. In this city a vast majority of children are on a free lunch program.  Last year, Palm Beach County spent around $9,222 per student. Besides the free lunch (and breakfast) that the government provides through taxes, these kids can't afford even the school supplies. Because of all this poverty that this city has attracted and continues to attract by building affordable houses and rentals, there is now a school supply drive.

Click here to read what you can do to help these elementary school children and all the particulars of this drive coming on August 14 at the Lake Worth Library.
