What the Schumer Shutdown cost Americans

This is an excerpt from the Wisconsin GOP but we all feel this way.

Democrats wanted this government shutdown from the start, holding Americans hostage for 43 days and getting NOTHING for their reckless games.

The toll was massive:

• $7 billion economic hit in the first month; the travel industry lost $4 billion
• 42 million SNAP recipients got only 65% of benefits; 100+ Head Start programs defunded
• Federal Reserve data stalled; longer Medicare/Social Security waits; $15 billion in contracts frozen, hurting small businesses and contractors
• Flight chaos: 13,000 controllers unpaid, leading to "sickouts," 10% capacity cuts, thousands of cancellations/delays

Americans can't afford this radicalism. The GOP is fighting for fiscal sanity, secure borders, and accountability.
